Your Dashboard

What needs my attention right now? The Dashboard is the first thing you see when you log into Loma.

The Dashboard works automatically. It surfaces late jobs, unrouted jobs, overdue invoices, and other items that need your attention without any setup. If nothing appears here, everything is on track.

Quick Actions

At the top of the Dashboard, a row of Quick Action buttons lets you jump directly into the most common tasks without navigating away: New Lead, New Customer, New Job, New Service, and New Payment. These are shortcuts to the same creation forms you’d find in their respective sections of the platform.

Scheduling Attention

The Scheduling Attention section surfaces jobs and routes that need action. Items appear here automatically based on what’s happening across your schedule, and they disappear once the underlying issue is resolved.

There are four types of items that can appear:

Late Jobs

Today’s jobs that are 30 or more minutes past their scheduled start time and haven’t been started yet. Each item shows the service type, customer name, and how far behind the job is. Late jobs usually mean a technician is running behind schedule or missed a stop.

Unassigned Routes

Routes in the next 7 days that have jobs scheduled but no technician assigned to perform them. This can happen if you create a route without assigning a technician, if a team member leaves, or if a technician is removed from a route. Until someone is assigned, the jobs on that route won’t appear on anyone’s Field view.

Unrouted Jobs

Jobs in the next 30 days that haven’t been assigned to any route. These are jobs that exist in the system but aren’t on anyone’s schedule yet. This typically happens when a new customer location doesn’t fall within an existing route’s territory, or when a job is created manually without selecting a route. Until the job is routed, no technician will see it.

Overdue Jobs

Jobs where the scheduled date has passed and the work was never completed. These are different from late jobs: a late job is behind schedule today, while an overdue job’s date has come and gone entirely.

For any job in the Scheduling Attention section, clicking on it opens a panel where you can move it to a different route, change the day, reschedule to a specific time, or cancel it. Each column also shows a count of how many items need attention, and if there are more items than the Dashboard displays, a “View All” link at the bottom takes you to the full list.

Billing Attention

Below the scheduling section, the Billing Attention section flags invoicing issues that need your follow-up. There are two types of items that can appear:

Overdue Invoices

Invoices that have been issued to a customer but are past their due date with a remaining balance. Each item shows the invoice number, customer name, amount, and how many days overdue it is. Clicking on an overdue invoice lets you send a reminder to the customer or record a payment.

Uncollected COD Payments

Flags situations where a customer who is set up to pay at time of service has an outstanding invoice. This means the technician completed the job but payment wasn’t collected on site. These items help you catch missed collections quickly so you can follow up before they slip through the cracks.

The notification bell

In the top-right corner of the screen, the notification bell shows a count of unread alerts. Clicking it opens a panel with real-time notifications like “Job Running Late,” which include the customer name, service, assigned technician, and how late the job is. You can mark individual notifications as read or clear them all at once with “Mark all as read.”

Your profile

Next to the notification bell, your profile icon displays your first initial. Clicking it shows your name, email address, a link to your Profile page, and a Sign Out option.

The Profile page has three tabs:

TabWhat it does
ProfileManage your personal information: first name, last name, phone number, and email address. Your name and phone can be edited directly. To change your email, use the “Change Email” button, which walks you through a separate verification process.
SecurityChange your password and set up two-factor authentication. 2FA adds an extra layer of protection by requiring a code from an authenticator app each time you log in.
NotificationsControl how you receive alerts. In-app notifications (the bell icon) are always on and cannot be disabled. Email notifications can be toggled on or off.

When the Dashboard is empty

If your Dashboard shows no items in the Scheduling or Billing sections, that’s a good thing. It means all your jobs are on track, all your routes are staffed, and your invoices are current. The Dashboard is designed to stay out of your way when everything is running smoothly.
